Love if for the hometown, authentic feeling, and great food. I feel like I am in Old Mexico. Its a tortilla factory, with simple taco and tamale menu. I love the tortilla chips in the big bag. Can eat in the restaurant or take away. The hot sauce is incredible. Hint: you can get a simple tour of the tortilleria by asking to use the restroom. Need to pass through the kitchen.

The absolute BEST tacos in San Marcos. Ordered tacos of each and Chilaquiles de Verde and they were DELICIOUS!!!! I don't write reviews but this place WAS WORTH WRITING A REVIEW FOR. Gina and the cooks are super nice and are very accommodating! We plan to come back very very soon!!!

Excellent service and tasty food. All the tortillas are made by hand and made to order. You can also purchase packets of them that they made that day.

Amazing!! Loved the food. We came in for tortillas and it was so much more!! We ended up eating there too. The food was amazing and extremely fresh. Super reasonable in price and everyone that worked there were very nice and helpful!

Their Adobada and Carnitas tacos are about as good as they get. More costly than your average street tacos, but bigger with a generous amount of high quality meat, along with excellent flavors and textures that put them near the top of the Escondido taqueria heap. The fresh house-made tortillas are a delight in and of themselves. The two creamy salsas, one green and one orange served in squeeze bottles, are a cut above the standard local offerings. Free fresh and tasty chips, free bottled water, and a perfect health inspection report are icing on the cake.

Wow, what a great first visit! We ordered Birria and carnitas tacos. FRESH tortillas for both tacos - soft and melt in your mouth fresh. Variety of salsas offered with food. Meat was fresh and flavorful. Service was excellent! They make fresh tortillas on site. Highly recommend this establishment. We will be back for sure.

The chilaquiles were delicious. I like the vibe of the place too. The lady that was cashier and cook made me feel like a guest in her home. Great experience.
